Jupiters Limited

When Jupiters Limited received the go-ahead to launch a state-wide keno game in Queensland, they needed to enter the market in the shortest possible time.

Jupiters selected the UNIX-based wagering system and its companion high performance transaction processing engine developed by the founders of PowerSource as the core of their new keno system. A significant technology transfer phase then commenced and Jupiters' own technical staff were trained to a level where they could implement the keno application software. During this time, Arnold Kopff acted as the system architectural advisor.

After the system went live in June 1997, Arnold was retained by Jupiters as senior technical consultant overseeing various aspects of the on-going development and refinement of the system.

Jupiters Keno is now sold in four casinos, over 550 clubs and hotels, and more then 250 off-track betting outlets.
